I have been nurturing mothers in the West End of Glasgow, through their pregnancies, since 2017 and those attending pregnancy yoga classes often continue their yoga journey with me once baby has been born. Pregnancy is a unique, personal journey for everyone. It is through pregnancy that I came to yoga, so it’s perhaps no surprise that I now enjoy teaching it so much!
My classes are focused on the enjoyment of your pregnancy all the way through to labour and beyond. As your baby grows, yoga is used to strengthen, tone and relax your body and mind. It can support pregnant women with common ailments such as backache and pelvic pain, as well as improve sleep and encourage prenatal bonding.
Thank you so much for your support and wise words (at Pregnancy Yoga) on Sunday – I really can’t tell you what a huge difference they made

My Pregnancy Yoga classes provide a supportive and nurturing environment for you to connect with your baby. Classes are relaxed, beginner-friendly (but suitable for all abilities) and impart elements such as breath techniques (which will be very beneficial during labor).
Throughout pregnancy, yoga brings a calm and inner balance that enables you to overcome whatever challenges lie ahead.
…our little boy is here! I felt strong through labour, thanks for everything during your lovely classes, I will miss them so much!!!

‘Yoga, at its best, has the wonderful capacity to heal, connect you back to your intuition and awareness, build balanced strength and mobility in your body, and energise your whole self. The secret is simple: The magic isn’t locked in the poses. It’s in you. How we practice, and how we treat ourselves while we practice, makes all the difference on the effects and benefits we receive.’ [Tara Styles]
Class Time: 9.30am-10.30am, Yoga Meditation & Healing, 4 Lansdowne Crescent, Glasgow, G20 6NQY
Note: Classes are suitable from 13 weeks into pregnancy.
Please: Consult with your GP before attending class.
